Jake Morgendorffer

Jake is Daria's father. He's pretty relaxed and clueless at home (most of the time) and seems more interested in the paper than his family, although he seems to be more sympathetic with Daria than Helen is. Jake had a pretty miserable childhood that included military school, and he still files into the occasional rage against his father. Although he doesn't keep very good track of what's going on in the family, he does worry about his girls, although Helen usually delegates him to the "back up" role. |
